AtomicSkier Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 Don't care about FIS...but less radius the better. I ski a 12.2m....it's a legit slalom course. Plenty of people ski it on bigger skis though. Quote
toast21602 Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 Count me in if you need me. What's the cost? Just let me know so I can put it in my schedule. Quote

Johnny Law Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 67mm K2 Crossfires in a 170? Again, I'd like to do this, but I won't have my class schedule until 1/15. The 176 had a 16m radius so that should be about 15m in a 170. Quote
Johnny Style Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 Good luck to you all this year. If you need a sub sometime lemme know :-) That is too bad, you are podium level talent. Didn't you beat Atomic Jeff? Is it just you, or is Urban Assault out as well? On the bright side, with you gone, I move up one spot. For those talking about skis, I have a line on a pair of Kastle RX SL skis with Marker bindings for $550. They are 2010 skis but they are still wrapped in the factory plastic. This setup goes for $1250-1500 new. You would get lots of looks skiing on the Kastles, nobody has them. I considered buying them myself but I am set for now with my gear. Quote
mbike-ski Posted January 4, 2013 Author Report Posted January 4, 2013 not gonna see you and dad at the start this year bob? bummer, but thanks for the well wishes and will let you know if any spots open up for sure. toast it looks like you have another week to look for some skis... The start of the Buckman's/Blue Mountain Monday Night Challenge Race Series is being pushed back one week so that Razorback will be in great shape for the 1st session. Registration will take place Monday, January 14th from 6:00 to 6:30pm. We will meet in the Summit Lodge by the Last Run Lounge. The 1st night will consist of practice runs from 7:00 to 8:30pm. Quote
Johnny Style Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 Razors Edge looked to have good snow on it yesterday. I hear it is going to get warm again; not good for Slalom skiing. I bet it wasn't a snow issue, I bet it is a "nobody has skied yet this year, so how do you expect me to hop in a slalom course for my first turns of the year issue?" Quote
mbike-ski Posted January 4, 2013 Author Report Posted January 4, 2013 yea not sure, my plan was to hit nastar sunday afternoon as a warm up but i don't think theyre gonna run nastar on sunday either Quote
Justo8484 Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 I need skis. Root's crossfires would work if you can't find something better. Super easy to ski for how quick turning they are. Quote
