sibhusky Posted January 30, 2013 Author Report Posted January 30, 2013 Oddly, never saw anyone I knew all day except some uphill skiers. And yet it was fairly crowded for a Tuesday. Quote

sibhusky Posted January 30, 2013 Author Report Posted January 30, 2013 I know I am always saying we don't have a lot of snowboarders. Well, we do have these guys... Quote
Barb Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 That looks like it torques your knees a lot. Quote
sibhusky Posted January 30, 2013 Author Report Posted January 30, 2013 I wouldn't know. It just drives me nuts with the trenches, you have to keep an eye out that you don't line up your skis into one of them and always cross them sort of at right angles. Quote

tarponhead Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 Sib, whats the crowd like on prez weekend? Thinking of bringing my boys out there next year and with the school schedule... Seems like your mountain might be the eastern equivalent to Burke for crowds during blackout dates (Been many moons since I passed through whitefish) TIA 1 Quote
sibhusky Posted February 1, 2013 Author Report Posted February 1, 2013 Unfortunately, it's as bad as Christmas. We are always popular with the Canadians anyway and President's Day lines up with their Family Day... or maybe it's Family Week. I bitch for a week. It's probably nothing like hitting Killington that week, but there are lines. Same issue with all the states bordering Western Canada. Quote
sibhusky Posted February 4, 2013 Author Report Posted February 4, 2013 Groomer day, but good cruising: 2 Quote
vinnyv11 Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Is that the first clear picture you've ever been able to take. Always feel like your skiing in blizzard/fog conditions. Beautiful shot. Quote
sibhusky Posted February 4, 2013 Author Report Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) No, go back a page. But, we have had a lot of fog this winter, it's been warm and I think that's what is causing it. And,of course, there's TON of pictures here: http://www.wmr-guide.com Edited February 4, 2013 by sibhusky Quote
NMSKI Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Sibhusky, you've definitely earned your ribbon from the Whitefish chamber of commerce. Great pictures, keep em coming. Whitefish is on my list, long list though. Quote
