sibhusky Posted March 5, 2016 Author Report Posted March 5, 2016 Apparently I totally missed Justin Bieber eating at the Summit House today. Was too busy making sure I only took 25 minutes and got back out again, I guess. Not that I would have recognized him. Quote

sibhusky Posted March 6, 2016 Author Report Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) These days, it's not the actual Jersey Boys, which as far as I know was a one off. It's a lady from Kalispell. http://www.whitefishpilot.com/news/new-owner-at-popular-whitefish-pizza-place/article_92d2b728-d7f2-11e4-963c-97426a0ecfef.html?mode=jqm Oops, I was wrong. momskeeztoo Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 I wouldn't know Justin Bieber if I fell over him.....also don't know who 3/4 of the people are in People Magazine. And don't care. One of the benefits of being a little older. But I love those pics of Montana. I really think that's gonna be my first trip skiing out west. Quote

As warren Miller says if you don't do it this year you'll be another year older when you do. What's stopping you?? Quote
momskeeztoo Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 i am a relatively new skier- last 10 years. Just now having the money to do what I want. Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 i am a relatively new skier- last 10 years. Just now having the money to do what I want. Nice...southwest airlines flys to Colorado and Utah relatively cheaply. Airfare to Montana is much higher. Quote
sibhusky Posted March 6, 2016 Author Report Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) Yes, it was entirely too sunny. Some snowboarder on the chair opined it had turned into a really nice day. Myself and the tele guy on my left sat in stony silence. That beautiful sun was destroying the light fluff not only on the front, but the deep stashes in the back. I had to keep my mouth shut about it not being a nice day if you had a clue. Sun is fine if it's 18 degrees or less, not when it's 30. Edited March 6, 2016 by sibhusky Quote

Justo8484 Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 What's the pow ski of choice these days sib? Quote
sibhusky Posted March 15, 2016 Author Report Posted March 15, 2016 Still on my Hell and Backs. Going to be in the market for new ones soon, but the last two seasons have had so few days where I needed a wide ski, that I am still using them. I had to "re-learn" them today. SAD. Quote
sibhusky Posted March 18, 2016 Author Report Posted March 18, 2016 (edited) Another near perfect day (one run that looked good, but wasn't. Warmed snow, suddenly got colder and way firmer than it appeared.) Severely edited set of pictures. They were all great. Edited March 18, 2016 by sibhusky 5 Quote
mbike-ski Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 Love the third one with the long shadows! Quote
