After a crowded radio station day on Friday, decided to skip Saturday and hit the slopes early Sunday. A pretty nice day, not too windy, not too cold, and the sun tried to come out a few times - a couple of inches new snow. Slopes were in good shape, although the base is getting a little low. The bumps on Exhibition were seeing a lot of action, and the bumps right side of Challenge were groomed out, making more room when the racers have the practice gates set up on the left. Challenge glade was pretty iffy - nice snow in spots, but a lot of rocks starting to push up. Got a few dings on my edges to work on.

One park has some huge jumps - the amount of snow there should last until July.

Saw JFSkiDan and he said he did some runs on Vader early before the new snow got pushed down to the bottom. Pretty busy in the morning, but started to clear out early afternoon for the game.

The Challenge decision - fast groomer or bumps in the trees (rocks and roots free of charge)

Nice report, how was Floyd's?

Floyds was nice, the race kids were at Elk for a race, so things were pretty quiet until the rentals started coming over later in the morning. Always some amusing antics viewed from the chairlift.

I was there Saturday and the conditions were good early but toward the end of the day the snow on top was pushed off and some parts became ice rinks. Tree's off of park were still good except for the bottom which was all rocks.
