guitar73
we checked in for the afternoon shift on sunday and wow was it crowded! we were able to get a parking spot in the lower lot, but def way in the back...so it was a bit of a hike to get to the lodge. at least we didn't have to wait for the shuttle to pick us up. we met up with some of tinymoose's pals from skidiva.com and we all had a fun time skiing together. good coverage overall, but the boiler plate was showing thru in the high traffic areas. timberline was generally in the best shape, but there were some good turns to be had on skier's right of sasquatch. grizzly had some rather large moguls on it: one run down was sufficient for me. lots of gapers stuck sitting in the troughs down the middle of the trail, bummer. we finished the nite off by grabbing a bite to eat: chx fingers, fries, and lager for me. that really hit the spot. too bad the rain and high temps are washing away all the new snow from the weekend....i hate to see how bc will be later on this week. I'm 13 miles northwest of bear and it's not raining here yet. Crossing my fingers though. The right side of Sasquatch was $$$$ on Saturday night though.

vinnyv11
Wife and I were there from about 9-2 on Sunday as well and thought overall conditions were pretty good. Groomer's doing a pretty good job. Sasquatch had really good snow on it and was alot of fun. Extreme was starting to get icy after a couple runs on skiers left but right still had some decent coverage. The bumps on grizzly were deep troughs and the couple times I went down it I was definitely weaving through people laying in the troughs. Timberline was nice and I went down the park which was interesting. I didn't realize the last hit on the trail had such a large drop off and I got some unexpected air lol. Fun time definitely needed to get some more time on the snow working the boots in.
