This probably doesn't interest anyone around here, and I would imagine that even fewer of us have ever been there, but I figured I would post this in the lull between summer and fall.

Wrote about this on my blog last night, but figured I would pass it along. Earlier this season West Mountain, a 1,010 ft vertical mountain with 3 chairlifts in the shadow of New York's Gore Mountain, declared bankruptcy. Apex capital a private investment and development firm stepped in on August 17, paid off the debt, and expects to be open this year.

Its always nice to see a mountain stay alive. I hate seeing any mountain disappear.

I bet Johnny Law has been there.

Johnny Law has been everywhere... I have some smaller mountains on the radar this year, but West isn't one of them...

Its like a carbon copy of blue, same vert, similar crowd, very similar layout. I was only there once, I had to pass Spanish 101 and 201 in college and there was a girl from Peru I had to date that lived in Schenectady.

Windham could be aptly renamed Cougar Ridge... There are MILFs running all over the place there...

A trip to Windham is in order! Chop chop!

I'm thinking the on mountain terrain and natural at Sugarbush outweighs the MILFage at Windham... I guess it's all priorities lol

The trip to Windham is strictly for scientific research.

I go there every other season or so. Fun place to ski. There's a great German bar nearby in Purling. Hmmmm fresh brats..

It needs a new name. Cougar Ridge or something. Even Luzerne Mountain would be an improvement.
