Confession. It does drive me nuts that some of you are skiing already. Even though I remember WHAT you are skiing.. I still have to wait over three weeks. :-(

Manmade 200' vertical? The travesty!!! I'd rather remind myself of that and not go than ski on that crap...

We skied 12 runs...all uninterrupted, skiing right onto the lift. Was a great afternoon on the snow. Even had a parking lot beer afterwards with our friend the deer who was hanging out in the parking lot with us. JADIP

I got there at 6:45 and it was still surprisingly empty. Short wait at the lift but not crowded on the trail at all. Not bad for Nov 14th.

We drove by the base of Blue last night...it looks like Jackson Hole in comparison.

When the Penn forest interchange (on 476) opens next year it will be by far quicker to get to BB than Blue.

 

Elk is remote. I don't consider the Pocono areas remote.

Elk is too far north to be considered poconos. Same with snotage

 

i would consider montage a pocono resort since it's on the western edge of the pocono plateau.....elk's in the endless mtns.
