LineSki Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 nice setup. its a lot harder than it looks for people who never did it. when you have no speed and a wobbily ass rail Quote
librider Posted July 15, 2005 Author Report Posted July 15, 2005 exactly me and my friend shane couldnt get speed bc we board only the skier could get enough for the kink and thats the reason hes the only one who did it. The long flat one we have now is nice. didnt have any light to film though. now its raining so we cant film now eather. we will get more soon Quote
pyro_boarder Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 Nice. I really have to get my carpet skiing setup done. I hate having to work. Quote
SickToothpick Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 can you just use regular carpet or does it have to be turf? Quote
LineSki Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 no it can be any carpet just make sure you put like hot soapy water on it. Quote
librider Posted July 16, 2005 Author Report Posted July 16, 2005 all carpet dosnt work as well. also that turf stuff is teh cheapest at the carpet store. 39 cents/sq ft. Quote
SickToothpick Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 (edited) well, i'll try it later. I have some extra carpet laying around somewhere EDIT: do you think floor tiles would work better? i have a huge sheet of them in my basement. Edited July 16, 2005 by SickToothpick Quote

LineSki Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 you should just like make a little starting like platform or something you can push off. it looks even harder to get speed with a snowboard. Quote
