poconoceancity Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Lol. I guess that could help with making predictions. Quote
RidgeRacer Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Crystal may be tough. You could possibly get some cow balls at the Jim Thorpe market though. Quote
RidgeRacer Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 It's a staircase run like most at jf and bb (flat, headwall, flat headwall, flat) Without all of the features its a fun run early in the season when nothing else is open. Top to bottom unlike freedom and light years funner than freedom. (the septic Hill in my back yard may be funner than freedom lol). Quote
Kyle Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Damn for some reason I thought you were a poor college student living off $200 a week lolI am a poor college student but I also work 45 hours a week. The car is 10 years old. They aren't that expensive anymore Quote

RidgeRacer Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Why do they capitalize PARK (big boulder PARK)? No one likes to be yelled at. Quote
Mixilplix Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 (edited) Yes my only car. Yes a ford focus. And ride, not even going to respond to your post. Currently working on buying a car for the winter. I've swayed more into the car scene then snowboarding. Last year I owned a car I could go to the mountain anytime, this year it's a different story and I'm not too worried about it. As much as skiing/riding is a hobby to you guys cars is that much of a hobby to me. I'll definitely be out to different mountains this year just depends on which of my friends are going and who can drive. Finding a winter/rainy day car is key.....Doesn't have to be pretty..Some of us never out grow the car scene....You ever check out cars and coffee at the Steel Stacks?...Some pretty wild cars show up...... toast21602 Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 fluffy must have posted bail Or stole it. Quote
poconoceancity Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 I will never grow out of the car scene. I look at cars every day on line and can't wait to pack my garage in the near future. Quote

Can't afford a winter car at the moment. And yes I have been to c&c at steel stacks. Amazing what shows up. I don't think I'll ever get out of the car "scene" the cars will just get better and more expensive. They'll also change with the times. If I brought this car back in time to 2002 the way it sits right now, all the guys with park bench wings, fart can exhaust, and huge body kits would laugh and say it's out of place. It's the exact opposite case today, those are usually the guys being laughed at. The popular thing to do to cars now is to have it be as OEM+ as possible, lower it, have the lips of your wheels flush with the fenders, and see how much stretch you can get out of a tire. Who knows in 5 years it could look dumb and a new fad will swing through. It's exactly like skiing in a way. Quote
Kyle Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 (edited) ST's are pretty impressive nowadays Wait till you see the rs that's coming to America in 2015. They are badass. It will look something like this and it's rumored to be around 300hp Edited November 22, 2013 by Kyle Quote
poconoceancity Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 No. I bet he took American delivery. Quote
Kyle Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 (edited) I don't get the euro front license plate on the front of a ford? Jeff has one of those on his Bimmer The focus originated in Europe. After being successful ford decided to bring it to the states where it blew sales through the roof. My car contains many parts imported from Europe including the wheels, bumper, ac controls, gauge surround, center console, tail lights, headlights, valve cover, etc. the euro plate seemed to fit a "euro" focus. Plus there's an inlay in the bumper for the euro plate and it looks ugly without it. Edited November 22, 2013 by Kyle Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 Back to the topic at hand. Temps look really good for Boulder starting Saturday night. Should be able to open several more trails before T-Day. 1 Quote
Kyle Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 I don't understand why ford made the fiesta as well as the focus. I assume the focus is better for shit like Kyle does, but for the average driver they seem pretty similar. Same with the edge and escape. Hell, the escape isn't that much different than the explorer other than some space $$$. People want cargo space with good mpg. That's what it comes down to Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 Boulder has the snow guns back on already. Blue hadn't turned them back on as of 5 minutes ago. Microclimate. In all seriousness though, the cold weather is working it's way south. Should be only a matter of minutes now. Quote
poconoceancity Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 It looks like boulder is blowing on at least 5 trails. 1 Quote

Ride Delaware ? Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 Blue's guns were on at 7:45. I posted my mistake in the other thread. When I wrote that post the guns weren't on Main Street. They were apparently on the training hill. Quote
