Ride Delaware ? Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 That's like 1994 pricing. How are they gonna stay in business charging peanuts?Easy. Lower prices lead to more customers. Look at Black Mountain and Bigrock in Maine. Both were run by a non profit that is trying to bring cheaper skiing to Maine. They dropped prices to $15 a ticket anytime last season and had the most skier visits and revenue ever, and by a large margin. They operated at a loss, but estimate profits in a couple years. All for the price of $15. 1 Quote
Kyle Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 That's like 1994 pricing. How are they gonna stay in business charging peanuts? Because all those people are going to spend that $20 extra dollars they saved on the ticket in the lodge on food, beer, etc 1 Quote

guitar73 Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 $29 is a reasonable increase from last year's $25 (if i remember correctly??). that and the new bar area, things are looking up for montage in my book. 2 Quote
KCSKI Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 All the prices are now up on the website...so check them out. Looks pretty reasonable and Channel 16 did a good newscast from there the other day, so check that out as well. http://www.montagemountainresorts.com/?page=115 2 Quote

Schif Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 Beer and food is always free out of my tailgate, which is conveniently parked next to the top of the Phoebe Snow lift most days. In the off chance I feel ritzy I will cruise down to the Shoppes at Montage and grab a burrito from Panchero's and eat it up at the mountain. Quote
