Ride Delaware ? Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 I mean t2b. The Main Street chair doesn't go t2b. It goes t2b in that there is a t and a b, but not t2b of the whole mountain. 6 pack or quad, your choice. And temps in the 40's tomorrow? It would be plenty spring like by noon. Quote
AngryHugo Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Blue regulars would know better, but any chance at t2b for Black Friday? No way. They have been concentrating on Vista and Main St to open. If Main St is open the whole way for opening day, that's pretty darn good for Blue. Sorry about the strong language. They have been blowing in the valley, but that is not even close to being usable. 2 Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Not with the low sun angle...I keep forgetting that you are still kind of a noob. What's the temp have to be there then, 80? I went there my whole senior year and there were plenty of days it was spring like in the mid 40s. I'm a little skeptical, but you've been living the Doug Lyfe for years. Who am I to question your lyfes knowledge? Nah mean? 2 Quote
zzslope Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Overnight snowmaking at blue makes me happy. 1 Quote
guitar73 Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 it was 25 deg in KOP w/ hard frost on the ground....let's hope blue was able to produce a bunch of sugar overnight! Quote
RidgeRacer Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 The whales in the valley area are large and in charge. I left home this morning and it was 30 on the mountain. 25 at the base of Blue. Definite inversion. 2 Quote
poconoceancity Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Nice...sick day if it pans out. Quote
AngryHugo Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Mt Mikovits probably will, though. 2 Quote
toast21602 Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Mt Mikovits probably will, though. The lodge should be occupied that evening. I don't think operations will begin until the following weekend... 1 Quote
guitar73 Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 blue stated on FB that if they are planning to open on black friday with 7 trails (weather premitting of course).... Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 You're a fucking retard. Thank you for that little bit of poetic justice. You manage to get yourself banned from internet message boards. Really? If they want to ban me for being a retard fine. At least it wasn't because I want to be a dick 24/7. Nah mean? Quote
vinnyv11 Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Just got an email stating there shooting for black friday. Trails to be open Easy out, Vista, Come Around, Midway, Upper & Lower Main Street and School hill. If able to open tickets are 50% off. 2 Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Wow they are confident. Maybe more terrain than that if it gets as cold as the forecast permits. The opening day setup they are advertising has been the normal opening day setup in years past correct? Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Correct u gonna be there Black Friday? If I were in DE, I would come up for the day and then stay with some friends. Unfortunately/Fortunately, I'll still be training, so I probably won't make it. Quote
zzslope Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 By Sunday there could be alot of terrain open!!!! It will be cool seeing you at Blue again this season!!! TP4 don't expect freshies in the woods next Sunday...I'm tracking out everything from lazy mile to Burma. Every nook and cranny of trees and maybe huck some small cliffs...the 10"-12" we get next week along with lake effect off beltsville will be out of sight!!!! The beltsville lake effect will be epic. Where do PAS&R's park when in the upper lot? Quote

RidgeRacer Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 Looks like the guns will be fired back up in a few hours. 32 degrees and light snow currently at Mount Poke N Hoe Once they light them back up they should be on for a while too. Quote
toast21602 Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 You think it will be cold enough to keep them on tomorrow afternoon? Maybe lazy mile for opening day!!! high of 28 tomorrow up at Blue. I think they will be able to. This wind is the only thing that will be hurting them right now. Quote
toast21602 Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 Is it just me or is this pretty cold for late November? Gonna be in the teens Friday morning at Blue. it is. Highs in the 20s tomorrow? I remember it being pretty warm last year. I could be wrong though. At least it will help areas get some snow down and get a good base. The earlier they get people in, the more money they will bring it, and more importantly, the more days I will get in. Quote
