burton71 Posted December 14, 2013 Report Posted December 14, 2013 Got up to BC this morning right about 8:45 and was on the snow at just after 9. Speaking of snow...for man made it doesn't get much better. The BC snowmaking team should start offering classes or perhaps contract out time to other local mountains. It was that good. Perfect cord in the morning that turned into nice edge-able snow without chucking up or turning into Blue like cookies. Park setup was the same as before but they started working on the jump line...looked like it should be open tomorrow along with the rest of the mountain. Fun hits of the side of cascade, cut over to BB for some rails, snow whale hit at the cascade / BB intersection, followed by some pow turns and small "cliff" drop into the end of the jump line was the line of the day. Looking like all but 1 trail is going to be open for this weekend...pretty nice for mid Dec. Ended up riding from 9 to about 4:30 with a quick break around noon for some food and adult beverages. Overall a great day and this weekend should only be better with cold temps and hopefully some help from mother nature. 2 Quote
