RootDKJ Posted January 20, 2014 Author Report Posted January 20, 2014 Wouldn't you just zip across I-80 from where you live??I could, but I'd at least like to carpool from The Crossings or someother meeting place. Quote
poconovfr Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 I prefer Elks terrain over cb's and the fact that there are real skiers at Elk helps preserve conditions all day. 1 Quote
RidgeRacer Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 Pharoah and cliff hanger are fun. Everything else is meh. From a strictly trail skiing perspective, Elk and blue destroy CB. Hell even montage. I'd rather ski the north face all day long (not even touch the upper mountain) over Camelback. Paradise at Blue is better cruiser than Nile. CBs "front four" are flat after the first head wall. Definitely no razors, challenge or main street. CB is over rated. C back is a glorified Shawnee. 1 Quote
phillycore Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 I can't really disagree with TP4. Camelback has a nice variety of trails and it's a fun place to ski. Quote
poconoceancity Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 I have always liked CB. It's less crowded than blue and the 730-830 open for pass holders only thing is nice. I am having fun at Frost this year, but am already dreaming about switching to CB once my girls are older. Quote

It's got a much better vibe to the place. 2 Quote
