PASKIINGSUCKS Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Looking to improve my beach fun arsenal. Drop a line if you've got either. Quote
snorovr Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 I have a Sector 9 Pintail I'd sell for like $50. Think I put new trucks on it like 4-5 years ago. Haven't ridden it since college. Quote
ron m Posted February 17, 2014 Report Posted February 17, 2014 I have a Gravity Larry Bertleman deck for sale ($35). The Bertleman is in good condtion. Definitely a surf skate type of board. Also, Gravity 45" Spoon Nose complete ($125). The spoon nose has tracker 149 darts, bones reds bearings, gravity angled risers, and 66m/77A burners. The spoon nose has a ding on the nose where my wife rode it into a curb. This one is good for cruising or practicing your surf-inspired nose riding/walking. I can email you pics if you are interested. BTW, Gravity recommends you use the same trucks, wheels, riser setup on the Bertleman as are already on the Spoon Nose. You could buy both. If you are interested.... Quote

Yea I mostly want it for the state park we go to in delaware during the summer. They've got a great big blacktop loop that pretty much takes you anywhere in the park. PMed Snorovr but nothing back yet. Sorry Ron, I'm looking for cheapish. Any of you DE guys have an old long surfboard laying around that isn't getting any love?? Quote

Shadows Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 i cant get to the library very often so be patient. plus i dont have a camera so i cant get pics, sorry. the bad: deck is tore up under the tape. i bought it used and the dude did some custom work on it and what not. normal shit. tape art with a razor cut the deck up pretty bad and some sharpie shit. i re-taped it and made it look somewhat decent. its still "custom" more or less. right now the tape has an off center pinstripe down the length of it to the right of the bolts. nose to the bottom of the rear bolts. after that there is a 4 inch gap in the tape running widthwise on the board where there is some sharpie ontop of the plain deck - then tape all the way to the tail. if that made sense. the good: only used like 15 times so good condition. wheels ares 99%, bottom original graphic 99% if you re-tape it itll be brand new. it takes a little over 2 1/4 sheets to fully black it out. so like 15 bucks to re tape i guess? i forget how much jessup it. youre gettin two sets of wheels btw. the complete NS comes with paris trucks (no idea what angle) NS wheels and the swift deck. i bought those sector nine wheels too. so you get those. google the swift deck though. lots of concave but some dont like it. i cant drive anywhere really so if you wanted to meet me in bath id go for 75 since you drive a truck from macungie. plus youre buying the blind more or less. no obligation though obviously - if you see the board and say nope, thats fine. Quote
Shadows Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 i mean, you could wait a while and let me see if i could get out to macungie. ill let you know. Quote
PASKIINGSUCKS Posted March 4, 2014 Author Report Posted March 4, 2014 That sounds fine man. I really only rode a longboard like twice in my life so shape really doesn't bother me at all. I just want something to cruise the paths on down there. Cons sound mostly cosmetic and I'm not really worried about that at all either. I'd be willing to drive to you, I just couldn't make it out til like friday or the weekend sometime. I still got your number if that hasn't changed since this summer. Quote

PASKIINGSUCKS Posted July 30, 2014 Author Report Posted July 30, 2014 Well I understand longboards tend to be a bit more expensive but I was hoping for the 1-200 hundo range. I'm a total noob and never was one for shiny new gear so thrashed and beaten boards would be totally acceptable as long as they are still ride worthy. Also i'd obviously be willing to pick up. I'll be down again in mid september and mid october. Might check with East of Maui down there too in case they sell off some of their rental boards toward the end of the season, doubt I'd get a deal there though. I might go higher if need be or maybe I could get one of my beachgoing buddies to chip in on it with me since there are a few of us that tend to go down there together a fair amount. Quote

PASKIINGSUCKS Posted July 30, 2014 Author Report Posted July 30, 2014 Thanks a ton in advance man. Always surprised by the opportunities of a community, even one as small as this one. Quote
PASKIINGSUCKS Posted July 30, 2014 Author Report Posted July 30, 2014 Couple times now yes. Once at BC when we chatted about the stickers I totally flaked on making for his mom's fudge business(Sorry bout that man, could probably still do it if she's still interested as I still have the vinyl) and again when I bought the longboard off him up in allentown. Seems like a solid dude, salt of the earth type, 10/10 would drink or ski with any time. Quote
