I thought we should start discussing the logistics and timeline for our annual "closing weekends" celebration.

 

Official date: tbd

 

I'm planning on bring the Orion. To support this we need the following:

12-15 pounds charcoal. Matchlight ok. If not, lighter fluid too.

Heavy duty aluminum foil.

BBQ sauce

Table

 

There's more things I'm not thinking of, but I wanted to get the conversation started.

 

Oh, and I want to go tubing.

• Keg from Victory - NMSki
• 4+ Bottles of Champagne - 1x jlaw, 1x root, 1x atomic
• Not-from-concentrate OJ - Atomic

Food

• Ribs - Root
• 3 dozen eggs - toast
• 3lbs of fresh thick cut bacon (from butcher) - GSS
• Assortment of bagels for breakfast sandwiches - Atomic
• Pepperjack & cheddar cheese
• Rolls (for bratwurst/sausage/chorizo) - Root
• Chorizo / Sausage / Bratwurst - Jlaw & Moe

Shit required to cook food

• Small pan for making eggs (to fit on a bagel) - Root
• 2 grills - Justo, Justo's beard
• Smoker - Root
• 2x folding tables - Mbike / Schif
• Cooking utensils (spatula, tongs, knife)
• Heavy duty aluminum foil - Root
• 12-15lbs match-lite charcoal - Toast / Moe

Shit required to enjoy food / drink

• Plates - GSS
• Paper towels - GSS
• Mustard (very coarse) - GSS
• Hot sauce(s)
• Solo cups (for mimosas) - Moe
• BBQ sauce - Root

I'll definitely consider it. I did get a new tailgating tent a few weeks ago that I haven't had the chance to try out yet.
