patt. Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 I probably won't do it this year, but would would happen if I hiked bear creek after they closed. Would security yell at me, would they call the cops, or would a bear attack me? Has anyone done this before? Quote
RootDKJ Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Just do it and if anyone says something, just play real dumb "Oh I had no idea we couldn't hike for turns. I didn't see any 'no hiking' signs. I'll never hike here again, thanks for your help" 2 Quote
PASKIINGSUCKS Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 You might get away with one run if you didn't hike directly up the hill. They would most definitely kick you out. Call the cops?? I don't know about off season but during ski season the cops are already there in house. I'd like to think they wouldn't throw the book at you but this is a place that doesn't even allow fishing in their ponds anymore so who knows. Quote
Justo8484 Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 is the no fishing thing new? definitely saw people fishing when i was there biking last fall... Quote
indiggio Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Big liability without them operating. Blue will allow you to skin up the trails, but SP will stop you and ask to see ticket/pass which you have to have for liability. Quote

Pretty new, maybe a year or two. I was kicked out like two summers ago so if you saw people fishing last fall they were definitely not allowed but I doubt they kick out out within minutes of throwing a line in. As far as I know there aren't any cameras on the pond just yet ha. Edited April 14, 2014 by PASKIINGSUCKS Quote
