zzslope Posted September 20, 2014 Report Posted September 20, 2014 What are the new piers in the parking lot outside the valley lodge for? Quote
RidgeRacer Posted September 20, 2014 Report Posted September 20, 2014 Noticed it yesterday. Looks like another tubing tent structure near the lodge Quote
Shadows Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Blue is the most unorganized piece of shit mountain. Theyre expanding that place in such a schizo way. Pick a damn project and be congruent with it throughout the whole mountain. Â Make some sort of theme...you know...theme....park.... Also the word "bo" means staff. bring the keeper of the staff back Quote
Johnny Law Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 the piers are for the lake they are going to build to hold fishing tournaments.  since they are building this hotel, they need summer activities to support year round income.  thus the fishing lake near the valley lodge  Gonna stock the snow making ponds, gonna be killer flounder fishing. 3 Quote
moe ghoul Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 I heard the new lodge is going to have a burlesque night and the Rolls Royce Trannies are headlining. Had to use that from the other thread somehow. Sounds like a classy act. 1 Quote
moe ghoul Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 Yeah, yer from the Costanza School of Parking, I was the same way for a lot of years. 2 Quote
AtomicSkier Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 I won't pay for parking in Allentown. All the downtown lots are charging $10 during events a s there's street parking for free. I'm actually surprised Blue doesn't charge for parking. Would be a good additional source of revenue and encourage carpooling. Â you had me at carpooling. 4 Quote
Riley Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 It's about time...covered parking at Blue. Wonder if that will be included in the VIP program for season pass holders??? 1 Quote
toast21602 Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 Is there gonna be covered parking? If you bring a big enough tent. Quote
Shadows Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 a complimentary fishing license? its a private pond...you dont need licenses anyway. Quote
toast21602 Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 is it considered a private pond if its a business? blue will be charging people to use the pond (fishing rod rentals and night crawler sales will be a good additional source of revenue) Brilliant. 1 Quote
toast21602 Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 Or free if you have a season pass. But how about not charging at all - that makes more sense. 1 Quote
poconoceancity Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 Jf has slope side parking for $20. Quote
Shadows Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 Why not just get penndot to make a tunnel so blue can charge an access fee. Quote
