Ride Delaware ?
It is still there. Changed hands. Renovated the lodge and are working on getting their liquor license back.
Schif
Well this plays into the post I was going to make tomorrow actually. I was up looking at a job in Henryville PA, which is where alpine mountain is, and I drove by and walked around to take a look at the place. I've got a bunch of pictures to upload, but in short, the lodge looks like it's almost finished with a nice looking renovation, there is a skating rink in the parking lot, and there are a lot of chairs taken off of the lifts and arranged in a Stonehenge like pattern all over the base area. Ride Delaware ?
Trails are mowed, ready for snow, and the lifts look like they are ready for their annual chair checks. Looking pretty good.

toast21602
Oh..... right, chair checks hmmmm. Jd to the courtesy desk stat! If that happens again blue would be taken over by rebels and the lifts would turn.
trackbiker
Alpine is a great alternative for beginners and novices as opposed to dealing with the crowds at Camelback. There is only one very short steep run near the bottom. Did they ever replace the bridge on the way in?

skifreak
All I know about Alpine Mountain is that is where they launched that stupid balloon to look for Eric Frein.
