larrytbull Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 How was cb today? Trying to decide whether to take kids to cb or Shawnee tomorrow. I hate lines. How many trail are open? Quote
larrytbull Posted November 29, 2014 Author Report Posted November 29, 2014 Decided to go to CB. It was a zoo, with basically only 1 run/lift open the bugle ND blck run rn into the green run. Too crowded and icy. Kids getting frustrated , left by 2:30. not worth going to. Tomorrow maybe I will go to BB Quote
poconoceancity Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 BB was empty today and had 4 trails open. More will open tomorrow. If you get there at 9 you will have the place to yourself till 11. Quote
poconoceancity Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 Philly you will probably get there earlier since you have a new whip! Quote
tnt Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 Just got back. We had a nice day. That green/blue run was pretty crowded, and Marjories was OK - a bit slick. But the terrain park was pretty empty and a lot of fun for the kids. No lines, except for the sun bowl to get back to the lodge from the terrain park. We had a blast. I guess we skied from about 9:30 to 2:30. The terrain isn't NEARLY as nice as what Blue has open, but lack of lines and the high seeped quad kept everyone pleased. Also, seems like they had snow everywhere - looked very ready to open more trails. 2 Quote

poconoceancity Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 Yes, but blue is faster. Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 I can confirm that blue cars are fast. My gray car is hella slow and I get passed by grandmas in vans. Crazy how TNT had a good time at camelback and LarryBull not so much. It's skiing in PA in November...that's like getting action on a first date.. Doesn't usually happen but when it does you gotta pinch yourself and ask..is this really happening 2 Quote
phillycore Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Yes, but blue is faster.Faster than red though?I do like the color....We didn't make that color in 2014 model. The 2016 is a total redesign for the sport. I'll be ordering my next one around July so most likely I will change it up to a outlander if the new one isn't available to order yet, all depends on my cost of course. I wish I could just get the Evolution but that's a pipe dream that's coming to an end for a while anyway.. Quote
poconoceancity Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 That's pretty cool that you have that opportunity with your job. What's the deal, you have to turn it in once it hits a certain amount of miles? Quote
phillycore Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Yes it's definitely a nice program that I'm lucky to have access to. I have to turn it in between 12-15k miles whenever that happens. Order one 4 months ordering time frame so the next one comes in when I'm in that milage range. Payment gets pulled directly from my paycheck once a month and my insurance and routine maintenance is included in that. I Must maintain a good driving record obviously and I'm responsible for any damages, keeping it clean, etc as it gets turned back in. I have the opportunity to purchase it if I want at the end or we have a separate purchase program as well. We bought Karen's mirage, lease mine. I can sponsor purchases but not leases....that's employee only thing. Actually, I sponsored one car purchase to a PASR in 2013. I'm not in sales or anything so it's just cool to be able to help if someone is interested in our products. Sometimes they run special program where I get $100 (taxed..lmao) if I sponsor or buy a car. Woo hoo a whole like $65 post tax.... It's a joke but honestly who cares, cars are expensive so if I can help someone save a little bit than I'm all about helping out. Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 U helped Sexkitten? Quote
phillycore Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 (edited) U helped Sexkitten?I've sponsored like 8 car purchases in the past 11 years, one of those was bought by someone on here. If you have the ability to help someone save $ on something that they want to get than you should. I've never met someone who didn't like saving a few bucks. If I wanted a tombstone you better believe I'd be calling you up....lol Edited November 30, 2014 by phillycore Quote
