Pretty cool that your work is closed for the first day of rifle hunting season. No I had today scheduled off and yes I'm still here. Good day to practice bumps. I'm starting to realize that line prophets aren't the greatest bump ski in the world. 1 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 How wide underfoot are the line prophets??? Isn't that what Phillycore has? Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 1, 2014 Author Report Posted December 1, 2014 How wide underfoot are the line prophets??? Isn't that what Phillycore has?98. Yeah he talked me into them. I owe him a beer or 3. Any word on the ridiculous tents in the valley yet? What's going on down there. Quote
indiggio Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Prophets are great cruisers with the metal band in them, good on hardpack/ice, great in soft/powder/spring granular. They are not good in the bumps, too stiff and wide. 2 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 I know the new tent where the PASRs used to park is gonna be their ski shop. They need to get the construction wrapped up. Quote
Johnny Law Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Looks good probably going up tonight 1 Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 1, 2014 Author Report Posted December 1, 2014 So much going on between the Waterpark, the valley etc. The tents have to be temporary until the Blue Mountain grand resort and spa opens up. Quote

I'm sure there will be plenty of time for that during the after work sessions. [emoji303] Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 The waterpark is on hold. Apparently they are putting alot of money into the place because Bruce who's 1/3 owner is not doing well health wise and Barbie is gonna sell out. Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 1, 2014 Author Report Posted December 1, 2014 Ok I'm out. Great freaking day or here. Tonight should be nice if you're headed out. 2 Quote

GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) Not a powder day. You are off the hook this time... In 2006-07 I skied 119 days including a streak of 61 straight days...ever since then I've been slacking. I just want 70 days this season. 50 at Blue and 20 in the Rockies. seem ok so far but I'm skiing 90's MBike-mike do you have bump skis? Edited December 1, 2014 by GrilledSteezeSandwich Quote
Justo8484 Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Yeah prophets are inherently not gonna be great in the bumps. There's a reason bump skis are narrow, minimally shaped, and non-metal. Ha got all 3 of those working against ya with the prophets. 1 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 should have purchased mantras This Quote
tarponhead Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 MBike-mike do you have bump skis? MBike-Mike don't need no stinking bump skis to ski bumps. He get at them with anything on his feet [emoji14] 1 Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 1, 2014 Author Report Posted December 1, 2014 The prophets are a pretty amazing ski. I'm actually looking for something wider to complement the prophets when it snows. Don't think those will be good in bumps either. Luckily I'm not normally seeking out bumps. Usually when there are spring conditions. Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 1, 2014 Author Report Posted December 1, 2014 Effin rain...I hear you. Where did this come from? Started right when I was leaving. Quote
