Was ok, super windy and crazy amount of noobs and they weren't all bus people so they stuck around.

Dat wind was off the chain. Especially on razors. Literally going blind over the first roller into a swath of snow.... But... The snow was tits on either side of where they were race training. Barneys was an absolute pleasure and I can only imagine how nice it was in the afternoon when the sun was out. Temps were in the teens by the end of the night. So cold that as we were leaving MattEdge was sprinting in the parking lot to his car, which was parked a mile away, while carrying all his gear haha.

Edit- also ate at the slope side. Decent selection of beer. Crazy balls expenisive though. The burger really hit the spot. Bacon, cheddar, american, BBQ, and o-rings on a toasted bun. Would do again when I don't mind spending $20 for a burger and a beer...

I was up yesterday afternoon for a bit. the snow was great on most trails. switchback was sketchy. $20 for a meal and beer isn't "crazy balls expensive". I don't know where you people normally eat that you aren't paying $20 for a meal and a beer.

True... True... I exaggerate. I just look for excuses to say "crazy balls". It's maybe 25% over priced. 6.50 for beer is steep and I expect a $13 burger to be at least twice as fat. It's thin enough that no matter how you order it, it comes well done. Still tasty.

Thought they were half pound burgers. Anyway you're paying more for the view. Remember its resort pricing. I know a beer and burger at Emerils at the Sands is over $20. The best burger in Allentown is at Werts and its $7 with bacon and cheese and chips..costs more for fries or onion rings...I don't get beer there cause they have the best white birch beer. I refer to $20 bills as yuppie food stamps...mainly cause they disappear so fast. Anyway now I know not to get a burger at the Slopeside grill honestly I doubt I'll ever go there or the bar at Blue anyway. And if the burger is so thin that you can't get it medium then it is a ripoff..thanks for the food report!!!!

^thats what I'm talking about. $3 beer and a $7 burger = winning. Resort pricing lol, what's that?

Resort pricing means they have a captive audience who will spend more money. You ever go to an amusement park or movie theater or sporting event and see what the prices are. Trust me if I owned a ski resort I wouldn't be charging Allentown prices for food and drink. I'm a businessman I'd wanna maximize profits. I honestly don't care if I spend $10 for dinner or $20 for dinner or whatever. That extra $10 isn't gonna affect me in lyfe and people can say wow that can add up well if that was the case id just get ghetto nachos from sheetz for $4.

Thank you for clearing that up. Haha, too funny.

I expect you to write a Yelp review of the Slopeside pub.I hope you only tipped a dollar or two. For a $20 tab I'd usually tip $4-$5 but they only brought out one plate and one glass wahahahahooey

You know what grinds my gears. When I pay for a $30 tab with a $100 and the server asks if I want any change back. Also when I'm at a bar and buy a round for $10 and pay with a $20 and my change is a single $10 bill..when I paid for a $54 tab at the mangy moose I got back two $20s a $5 and a $1. The waitress is retarded. She's hoping to get a $20 tip otherwise she's gonna get $6 what if I wanna leave $10...luckily atomic Jeff had a $10. It may sound like first world problems but it really ruffles my feathers. This should probably be in the pet peeve thread.
