Awesome play this song…it won’t bring you down.

The monkees were my jam back in the day. True story...I was a wee one, but my parents took me to veterans stadium in 1986 (I think it was) to see them. Another true story...went to the Michael Jackson Victory tour also (83 or 84?) at JFK stadium.. I think I was 6. Lol I remember them both pretty well. Stay turned for "more crap about me that no one cares about but this is what happens when I'm stuck in the car waiting for my kid to finish volleyball practice."

I liked the Monkees cause it was on TV just like My three sons and leave it to beaver and Dennis the menace and happy days.  I always liked nostalgic stuff and luckily one of my best friends is about that Lyfe.  One of these days of doing Vegas with her because there’s a couple spots she wants to hit including pawn stars and a bar an old rock star hung out at.  Maybe spring break

Ditto.  It was The Monkees show and Banana Splits before heading in to afternoon kindergarten for graham crackers, recess and naps...

i went and saw them too, and it had to be the reunion tour around 1986.  i cant for the life of me remember where though.  wasnt at vets stadium.  for some reason i think it was in like Bryn Mawr.  Outdoors.  sat on the lawn.  very crowded.  Could have jumped a fence.
