PASKIINGSUCKS Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 Kinda curious to see what the tubing hill looks like this year and if this settlement leads to any changes in the name of safety. Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted December 3, 2015 Author Report Posted December 3, 2015 They should make the tubers wear helmets...heck they should make helmet use mandatory for all skiers and riders. Quote
Shadows Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 nothing like ideas to make things more annoying for the sake of corporate safety. Rent our skis? Use our tubes? Got to wear a helmet. Luckily we rent helmets too- 15$ Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted December 3, 2015 Author Report Posted December 3, 2015 Shadows after a two million dollar lawsuit I won't be surprised if they provide helmets and padding for tubers. Quote
Shadows Posted December 4, 2015 Report Posted December 4, 2015 Well yea. If they require it theyd have to provide them Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted December 4, 2015 Author Report Posted December 4, 2015 Well yea. If they require it theyd have to provide them Sure and they can charge for it. Quote
PASKIINGSUCKS Posted January 18, 2016 Report Posted January 18, 2016 Was reading about this on the interwebs the other day, can't believe they lost. Repercussions: Tubing hill is essentially cut in half this year. Still looks very fun though. Safe, and fun. Quote
guitar73 Posted January 18, 2016 Report Posted January 18, 2016 as a friend once told me, "tubing, for the truly talentless". after reading that article i really can't believe this dude won the lawsuit. smh. Quote
momskeeztoo Posted January 25, 2016 Report Posted January 25, 2016 I was looking at the tubing hill today, about 1/2 the length it used to be, and flatter maybe. Or am I imagining that? Quote
PASKIINGSUCKS Posted January 25, 2016 Report Posted January 25, 2016 Pretty sure it's the same pitch, they just start from about halfway down the hill now instead of the top. May have made the bottom runout longer too, I'm not sure about that. Wonder if they will start the cardboard races from the top still. Quote
