Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted October 1, 2015 Report Posted October 1, 2015 (edited) Are we getting that open to start the season? Or when? Any other new developments for this year? Edited October 1, 2015 by Ski2Live Live2Ski Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted October 1, 2015 Report Posted October 1, 2015 I doubt the new trail will be open. Nothing is mentioned on their website. Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted October 1, 2015 Report Posted October 1, 2015 How much more can they do on that side WITHOUT adding a new lift? Quote

Ride Delaware ? Posted October 1, 2015 Report Posted October 1, 2015 At some point you couldn't get back to the lift because of pitch. The bottom of Blue is ridiculously flat... Quote
Justo8484 Posted October 1, 2015 Report Posted October 1, 2015 Not this season. They still have a ton of work to do over there. They chopped all the trees but as of last I was up, hadn't even begun ripping out the stumps yet, let alone lighting and snowmaking. Quote
toast21602 Posted October 1, 2015 Report Posted October 1, 2015 master plan shows at least one more lift over there on the far side of the ponds. 2 Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Where's this master plan you speak of? Quote

GSSucks Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 So many tents at the base, but then again, it is all about the base. 2 Quote
Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted October 2, 2015 Author Report Posted October 2, 2015 (edited) Nice plan. They want to challenge c back for "horizontal" Anyone got the full view of that plan and a bit higher res? Edited October 2, 2015 by Ski2Live Live2Ski Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Nice plan. They want to challenge c back for "horizontal" I think blue might already be wider than camelback. Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 They can't even get a water park built. I can't imagine the buildout on all of that... Quote
toast21602 Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 They can't even get a water park built. I can't imagine the buildout on all of that... Then don't worry about it. Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Then don't worry about it. QFT!!! Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 At some point you couldn't get back to the lift because of pitch. The bottom of Blue is ridiculously flat... Maybe a connector lift between the new pod and the valley lodge...maybe a gondola between the new pod and the valley and another gondola between the summit and valley lodge..they could put a hotel in where the PASRs park. Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted October 2, 2015 Author Report Posted October 2, 2015 I think blue might already be wider than camelback. I doubt it. Certainly fewer distinct top to bottom runs. Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 At some point you couldn't get back to the lift because of pitch. The bottom of Blue is ridiculously flat... Wouldn't be a problem on skis but on a snowboard prob be tough. Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Was looking at some stas and blue mountain has 164 acres of ski terrain and camelback has 160 acres. Makes sense as blue has less top to bottom routes but are longer and in some cases wider so camelbaxk is wider than blue pretty obvious when comparing maps. You know what resort is real wide, blue mountain Ontario 1 Quote
Shadows Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 From what i understand the entire lift service on the alps is like 5 countries wide 2 Quote
