GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted September 21, 2016 Report Posted September 21, 2016 Not much in PA. Whitetail added a short green trail called ledgewood. Blue has been the most active in PA in expanding terrain. That's cause Blue is he best!!!!! 1 Quote
Sno Mountain Skier Posted September 21, 2016 Report Posted September 21, 2016 Montage- Rattler was built in the sno days. I think some glades on top as well. Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted September 22, 2016 Report Posted September 22, 2016 It's a long time to build a trail. No way to get around that. Pats Peak and Waterville Valley are going to be able to open up entire pods in 1-2 years with a lift included. Id imagine it took them awhile to plan it out so that the addition of the future lift and those trails are seamlessly integrated. Quote
Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted September 22, 2016 Author Report Posted September 22, 2016 Yeah, certainly it costs money to do. But if you aren't ready to commit the money, don't put it on your trail map "coming soon" It does not take more than one off season to do. Quote

It has for every trail blue has ever opened going back probably to upper sidewinder for the 90-91 season and realize that last season revenue was likely off by 40% and I doubt they even broke even. If last season was a good season there would be a much better chance of additional capital expenditure. 1 Quote
indiggio Posted September 22, 2016 Report Posted September 22, 2016 Could be done in no time flat, if they really committed to it. Probably a line item in the budget from which she keeps pulling from for other stuff instead of using the money for the new trail. Uh, running tight on paycheck funds, just pull from the new trail fund... Quote
RidgeRacer Posted September 25, 2016 Report Posted September 25, 2016 I want to know when the base area build out will be completed and what it will contain... Why? You ride at Sugarbush and Elk. So is the new trail ready for this year or not? 2 Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted September 26, 2016 Report Posted September 26, 2016 They reopened the bridge on schedule, so I have faith that the powers that be will have the trail open on schedule... Quote
