tnt Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 Anyone? I'm going to be optimistic and say Dec 12.... Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 Slight chance for December 5. Long range has a few teens for overnight lows in the Poke N Hoes. I think a decent chance of December 12. Crazy that last year blue opened 2.5 days from now and already announced their opening on 11/19 Quote
Shadows Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 Last time i skied here opening was boulder on nov 10. Quote
poconoceancity Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 BB 5th Blue 12th JF 19th Quote
toast21602 Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 BB 5th Blue 12th JF 19th this is a likely scenario. BB would also do a mid-week opening if they could. Quote
poconoceancity Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 You're right toast. Maybe the 2nd for BB. Quote
toast21602 Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 (edited) You're right toast. Maybe the 2nd for BB. I hope. I'd probably drive up for that after work. I remember them announcing a Thursday morning two years ago. I was doing adjunct work at the time and cancelled the afternoon class so I could head up with Jeff (who no longer posts on this site or responds in our group text) Edited November 20, 2015 by toast21602 Quote
RidgeRacer Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 Last time i skied here opening was boulder on nov 10.Dude that was like 8 years ago. You should really get up to blue this season and ski with PASRs. You seem like a pretty cool dude who would add an element of class to the mountain. BB 5th Blue 12th JF 19th Going with this as well. Although Blue could surprise us and open earlier. 1 Quote

JFskiDan Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 BB 12-4 - freedom only Jf 12-19. - 75% terrain not including East Mt. I hate to say it, but i think Blue is going to struggle with marginal snowmaking temps. 12-19, but they open with some worthwhile terrain, similar to last year. Quote
moe ghoul Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 We'll get an atlantic storm that'll drive warm southerly temps and rain into the mid atlantic early december, washing away the precious manmade strips of snow, followed by freezing rain and inch thick crust. Power will be out for at least a week, maybe longer. Nothing will be skiable until MLK weekend. 2 Quote

Schif Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 No pass to Snotage this year. I'm moving to Harrisburg in January so it doesn't make sense to get a pass there. Quote
Schif Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 Round Top [emoji58] Better than nothing. But also a lot closer to the elusive Blue Knob too, so there's that. 2 Quote
