Went to check on the eagles nest yesterday. We were looking with our binoculars from bottom lot, security was there immediately. He was nice, but I think he was just checking we weren’t going to try and approach the nest. Apparently Pa Game Commission aware of the nest, and security is making it a priority to look out for it, fine by me. Then we walked top of Blue-still a pile of snow on Lazy

138 new snowmaking thingy-mobobbies for this year.  Thats some serious shit right there.  so after 75 get used up on Raisins, that still leaves quite a few to spread around for the lower tier individuals like myself.  And Comet got a whole bunch of new electronics, and sheeves, that will probably in the end render it completely useless, but at least they are trying to fix some of its issues.  

i will say this, they arent shy on spending money on the place.  But, its really probably all the green they pulled in with the paid parking.

they posted a video about this a while ago. my first question to them was 'how many are going on razors'. 

first, i was surprised they answered, maybe they didn't pick up on the sarcasm. second, it wasn't as many as i expected (maybe 30ish?). i can't find the comment.

30 snowmaking cannons going on razors at once sounds good to me.  I’m happy about the falls getting more firepower as much as I enjoy skiing the whole lazy mile to that awkward turn onto shuttle..I like cutting the corner half the time no snow there.  
 

I’m ready for ski season.  I should start buying some gear as opposed to most years when it’s three days before the start of the season and same old kit

I have others but that’s definitely in the rotation lol I keep the plain t shirts for work and haven’t worn a dress shirt since 2022.

Finally filled out the waiver for this year from the email they sent out in July. FYI the waiver is different than years prior and can't be signed through your account on their website. It's a third party website now -->

i must have signed mine when i re-upped my pass, looking at my account it says i have no unsigned waivers, and i have a 2024/2025 waiver signed already.  

still doesnt guarantee my pass works though.

I was told it was started by peeps at overlook rocks on the AT.  4 miles from skiing and on the south side.
