Was up at  Blue lower area being sure my pass worked. Last year, first day, first in line at rope drop and the pass wouldn’t scan.

New coffee bar across from the store. Plus parking area next to the patrol shack is pass holders and handicapped only. Gravel trucks going in.

Rise and grind is 2 seasons old I think and a no brainer stop for me after skiing on a Saturday morning for parking lot lattes.

This just gave me an idea. The parking lot X factor that we've been chasing ever since tableside Creme Brulé became the norm.

Honestly, im kinda hoping they just wait to open next Friday.  Get a nice base on some key trails so they can hold on if we get some less than stellar snowmaking weather.  Im not saying blow 3 trails 4' deep, but enough to get by just in case.  I mean, maybe they can do that in 3-4 days, but at this point, why rush it.

Does anybody know if they added equipment to lower main?  Its been pointed out thats where the bottle neck for basically that entire side is.  The entire season it was pretty thin there always.

I’m still expecting Friday and agree it would make for a much grander opening with the time they have to make snow and prepare for that date but…………. I’m still showing up if they wanna WROD it earlier in the week 😇

I kind of have to make opening day at Blue, in the past when my work schedule wasn’t as flexible, I’d be up for night skiing opening day if on a weekday at least a couple times.  But I like to be there with Ashley and Jim and Justin Backover the WFMZ business reporter some know as channel 69 along with the Philly New York New Jersey and NEPA media..and what’s the center of it all..you guessed it folks, Blue mountain…Touch the Sky..Blue mountain.

That's a better snowmaking stretch than we had at any point last season I'm pretty sure.

See you Saturday.

Fuck night skiing there.

First day out I feel like it doesn't matter, the legs are only 80% best anyways.

I guess. Though i don't expect a workout if it's Paradise and Vista.

That said, I almost have a feeling they're gonna pump for a shit ton of coverage. It's no longer about 'opening first', but how much terrain is available.

My liver will be 100% ready for the lot tho. I'm so ready.

Yeah, it gonna be far more than Vista. I wouldn't be surprised with:

Easy Out, Vista, Come Around, Burma, Midway, Lower Main, Trails End, Tut's Lane, Sky Top, Coming Soon, Paradise, Razors Edge, Falls, Homestretch. Maybe Lower Sidewinder.

I think that's everywhere they have the newer guns, amd I think they can run that all at the same time now

I said Vista but i meant burma (via Vista).

Paradise is huge from a sq ftg standpoint, i think they'll nix coming soon for it. Razors they'll be blowing on but it won't be open.

Also, no coming soon will negate having to run the quad (they won't care about asinine lines).
