I take back the Burger King crown (and i really like BK) to present to you the notorious big crown for opening like 4700 running feet of slopes. The crown lights up when you ski good too. 1 2 Quote

I prefer the sexy voice in my earphones saying what a great skier I am after a good run. 😍 1 Quote

C1erArt Posted December 4 Report Posted December 4 (edited) Cranking out the runs today, I see. Doing some tree skiing? Yell if you see a geezer in a green and black helmet and orange Volkl skis tomorrow morning. Edited December 4 by C1erArt 2 Quote

Ya there was enough natural and windblown from the guns to cut a few fresh lines close to the tree line on the adjacent trail. Coverage was excellent, firm and quick but no boilerplate spots. Absolutely empty. Won’t be there tomorrow, next is Blue on Friday. They’re supposed to get 1-3” tonight into tomorrow, you should have a stellar morning. Edited December 4 by DiMe 2 Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 4 Report Posted December 4 Anyone know why every time I go to redeem my buddy passes I get this stupid page? Is it because they haven’t opened yet? 1 Quote

RidgeRacer Posted December 4 Report Posted December 4 (edited) Here’s a blast from the pasr past…remember when that dude got angry at blue because they used generic ski pics that had Rocky Mountains in the background. That was a hoot. He said it was false advertising. Then there was the guy that was mad that blue kept the lights on all night. Edited December 4 by RidgeRacer 2 Quote

I was telling Barb recently she’s obsessed with rock climbing now. Is she in Phoenix or Flagstaff? Phoenix was a fun place when our son lived there 2014-2016. It’s a whole different world there now. I could definitely live in Flagstaff, just probably couldn’t afford it Quote

Not as hot as the valley, 65 and sunny in the winter with 250 inches and almost 3k vert 45 minutes to an hour up the road. You get it all there. Although I agree Flagstaff is awesome but housing is so expensive 1 Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted December 5 Report Posted December 5 I’m sure this has been addressed in the thousands of posts I missed before this, but did any of you spring the extra $$& for a Peak to Peak pass for Camelback. I’m guessing GSS didn’t… It’s not always feasible to drive to Sugarbush now, so there could be a venue change for a few years. Not sure yet. Weighing our options. Quote

Right now schools at a 2 hour delay but I wouldn’t be surprised if they updated it to a full on snow day. 3 Quote

Don’t think anyone I ski with would go to Camelback. Also, I’m not sure buddy passes to Blue are included. I’d rather have those. Quote

JFskiDan Posted December 5 Report Posted December 5 im pretty surprised to see them still making snow being so marginal temps. must be using snoflex. Also it looks like its snowing pretty hard there right now. Looks like just enough snow for everything to be in play for tomorrow. Quote

Dirtwolf Posted December 5 Report Posted December 5 Woke up this morning with about an inch on the ground. That last squall that just came through dropped another inch or two. Now the forecasted high winds are starting. 1 Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 5 Report Posted December 5 Just a reminder that we’ll be skiing at blue mountain in less than 24 hours. 4 2 Quote

If not, maybe try copying the voucher code, then click Voucher Redemption right off the main menu when you click the hamburger menu, under contact us, and put the code in on that page. Not sure, but worth a try. 1 Quote
