They might be able to go all day today, but temps are kinda not great for big production, but main has some snow on it for sure.  pretty surprised to hear chute might be going too.  So, they will blow snow till like 3 am on it, then groom it out, and it will be a minefield of cookies by 8:07.  

i have been wondering if they have been blowing on widowmaker as well.  You know for the race team to practice on before Razors is ready.

sounded like a lot of chatter yesterday about chute. seemed like problems with one of the headwall guns on it but they didn't sound too concerned (it needs like 3). regardless, i heard chute enough to take notice. seems like a low-effort run to open to thin things out coming down to lower main, plus adds a sprinkle more of available advanced terrain.

have not heard anything about racewidowcurzis.

Thankful for the weather stretch that we have had, but here comes the typical NEPA forecast.  When the moist moves in, it warms up, and then as the moist moves out, we get the re-freeze.

Have we ever figured out why every morning blue opens, the bottom lifts get a late start compared to the top rope drop?  I’m guessing they are still waiting for the ski patrol ok for the lifts, which they don’t have to do at top lodge

A lot of booing.

MS lift gates opened early and Oz had his skis saving his spot but was in the lot. He walked right around everyone in the corral and got first in line. What a move

Their video signs in the lodge were touting 138 new guns this year. Didn't see it on the mountain IMO

I was told this weekend this Razor cam is for the race parents. They won't let parents walk up hill anymore(surprised they did before since they won't even let us go up hill an hour before opening but they let people walk across trails during busy weekends) and will have live viewing areas in the lodges so they can try to sell food and drink to them. Only way to watch in person is with a lift ticket and skiing/riding.
