Could be worth buying a midweek ticket to ski that a little closer than any of the Epic options on a day when my time is limited. Better than anything else available closer than Catskills on a day when lines will not be a factor

Gonna ski Blue this afternoon for my day 6 - using the $35 deal they are offering to folks with season passes to other mountains. Already hit Frost, Roundtop and Hunter in past 9 days so will be nice to ski somewhere I haven’t been recently.
 

May be my first time since they got rid of the Main Street chairs - which were the only game in town when I started at LG. 
 

Next stop after this will be Stowe next Mon-Wed

Another nice day today. Paradise a little bumpy and had some cookies this morning, but it did improve

The quad is open!

Rode with Atomic and his friend this morning. Not bad but not great either. Dis was super hard and fast first thing but too many goobers to take full advantage. 

Lazy was probably the best of the bunch and was soft set it and forget it. Full main was super nice and up until midway held good grip and fast snow but then went to shit. 

The morale of the story is shit is coming apart, lower main by 1030 was rowdy and the dreaded sugar was showing up in spots. Some good turns out there but the snow quality is poor at the moment generally. 

Also the quad was running but had that particular industrial smell. Idk what it is exactly but slightly burning/hydraulic/ industrial solvent smell though for the quad that's probably a good sign.

If it’s burning hydraulic fluid, that means it’s got hydraulic fluid. It’s when the smell goes away that’s a problem.
