thedude4bides
The early bird pass was $519 last year and in October I believe it was like $670. Before that early bird was $499 and it went up to $635..break even is like 8 days. maybe break even is 8 days for the guy that only goes Saturday's or something... I used to get 20 visits for $400. I'd do two six packs for $100 a piece and 8 Sunday nights for $25 (it's probably more now). When I had to do decide if it was worth it Break even was something like 22 days. GrilledSteezeSandwich
Yeah counting break even based on full priced weekend days...less for weekdays but a weekday pass is less as well. Sunday night have to be some of the crappiest conditions of the week. I miss the Ray Tuthill days with the 4pm grooming.

indiggio
When was that??? The 80s?? Yeah, late 80's early 90's Remember the armband season passes with the blacked-out barcode? I probably still have mine laying around somewhere. I was on was at NYNY casino in Vegas in 2010. I rode the roller coaster and skyshot at the top of Stratosphere in Vegas before they got rid of them. Both were wild! I love amusement park rides, but rest of family doesn't as they make them sick. They got rid of them? Wasn't that the only thing at stratosphere worth going to? Fwiw...I'm not a coaster guy myself, but I do have a membership to six flags great adventure for the past 3-4 years....smh Initially it was more cost effective to get the membership than making just one trip. (After two visits and parking...we have 4 memberships) The second year I was going to cancel it because we only went like 3 times and they offered me all 4 memberships with free parking on each one and they're good at any six flags in the country for $16 month total. I can't cancel it because it's too cheap at this point, just have to make sure that I use it at least once. Pretty much our "I'm bored and feel like doing something but we're broke" thing to do...lol Ok...well we also have a zoo membership and Baltimore aquarium as well...but cancelling both of those soon...lol

I don't know about the skyshot, but I know they ditched the roller coaster for some claw thing that hangs you over the edge. Was the only reason I went to the Stratosphere. NMSKI
Emailed someone in the sales office today, and they confirmed that they will be doing the monthly payment plan again, beginning 4/1. Since I might be doing the whole family (except my son who is still free), it'll be nice to spread the cost over 7 or so months.

GrilledSteezeSandwich
Yep! Missed the early bird deadline so might as well stretch it out! Is the payment plan based on the pre November price??? I'm not paying anything till Halloween. It works out perfect for me because my rent is free in October because I got a free month of rent along with a 12 month lease so I save $725 in October which is about what my season pass at blue is.
