enjoralas
Yes that's what they need. Definitely not enough uphill capacity at Blue. They could replace the Vista lift with a high speed quad. Man, would lapping Widowmaker be the shit then!

The Main Street and Burma lifts could be replaced with a high speed quad or maybe they could put a season passholders lounge in the lower lodge. enjoralas
Just an FYI, this deal is back again on Friday morning. Ski2Live Live2Ski
Nice. Too bad it is timed for right when passes go up.
enjoralas
Nice. Too bad it is timed for right when passes go up. I'm just glad they brought it back again so soon. If they keep this pace up I'll be able to accumulate enough to get a half price pass for season after next! EDIT: This isn't really normal pacing, is what I mean. Usually it's 2-3 months between, this is less than a month. Edited March 30, 2016 by enjoralas
NMSKI
For the record, these can be used in bulk and there's no limit, correct? How about expiration?
NMSKI
Never mind. Just saw "no more than one per visit" and expires in 6 months.
GrilledSteezeSandwich
Never mind. Just saw "no more than one per visit" and expires in 6 months. Good thing I didn't buy up $300 of them Friday.
enjoralas
The one per visit is standard boilerplate sweet deals language. Don't be put off by it. Even if they held to it, it only applies to the voucher redemption, once the voucher is exchanged for a gift card it's a standard plastic gift card that they allow more than one of per transaction. They would have no way of knowing the gift card was from this deal. Same with the expiration. That applies to redeeming the vouchers for the gift cards. You have 6 months to do that, once they are gift cards there is no expiration. I personally redeemed 6 of these vouchers all at the same time for 3 $100 gift cards, although I am prepared to have to make multiple visits to exchange them if someone wanted to enforce the "1 per" language. I then used those 3 $100 gift cards the next weekend in one transaction for my season pass. I understand if people are skeptical, no worries. But for those with a little faith, you can save some major coin. And if not, less competition to snag them.

enjoralas
So your season pass ended up costing you $369?? Yep. Plus about $10 or so, the Sweet Deals website charges like $2 processing for each one.
phillycore
I pretty much have to renew mine tomorrow to make it worth it as I'm surely not making a shit ton of 1:45 trips back and forth to redeem gift card vouchers. Outside of that it seems like it would be a kickass way to save on a pass.

enjoralas
Congrats!!! Looks like you've seen the light and the light is Blue!!! I'll still ski some other places, probably on that Pocono card, but Blue IS only 20 minutes from my house, so for less than $300 for a pass it's the biggest no-brained ever. phillycore
Yesterday was the deadline for renewing season pass at the cheapest rate....I decided at the last minute that wasn't something that I was going to do. I made the decision to go back to instructing although next season I'm going to be at bear creek instead. Hopefully I'll still get to ski with you guys at some point next season....if for nothing else, the end of season lot party. Kinda sucks in a way but thought it was the best option for next year. phillycore
April fools fucker!! In complete honesty...I tried to renew my pass yesterday around 5pm, and my login information wouldn't come up. The system said that my email didn't exist. That's when I started thinking about alternatives...
GrilledSteezeSandwich
April fools right!!! Call up blue and let them know your issues I'm sure they would honor the early bird price.
phillycore
My alternative was to just create a new account and buy it as a new one.... Hell yeah I'll be back at Blue with you fools
NMSKI
I was doing some thinking now that my season is over. I've decided to dedicate myself to the technical aspect of the sport. I'll be pursuing my PSIA certification this winter. If I can improve my wedge Christie, I should be able to go right to level 3.
