GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 With a forecast low in the mid 20s Friday night Blue has the potential to blow a little bit of snow. Do you think there's a chance they will. I imagine lighting up a few guns for a few hours on homestretch could be some of the best PR possible to close out a rough season. Quote
skifreak Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 Yes. Based on what I saw on the webcam earlier, I would say they won't have much of a choice if they want to open this weekend. Quote

Based on what I saw on the webcam earlier, I would say they won't have much of a choice if they want to open this weekend. I think they'll also take snow from areas of the mountain with ample snow and cover bare spots. I don't expect all the trails to be open. Quote
tarponhead Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 Cannibalise Burma. That trail sux Quote
enjoralas Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 Blue confirms they will be blowing snow: 1 Quote

Just looked at the can homestretch isn't that bad still no walking requires. Enjorales I know you are pretty new to skiing but some areas will have signs on thin cover trails that say some walking required. I've seen it at sugarbush and killington. Quote

I wouldn't think you'd want to do that on the slope that feeds 50% of your mountain to 80% of your lift capacity though Edited March 17, 2016 by enjoralas Quote
Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 Any info yet on what they will have open tomorrow? Quote

Some goobers go all the way across to homestetch from the shuttle. Quote
skifreak Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 will it snow on sunday? Yes because Blue is scheduled to close, I took out all my driveway markers, and took the snowblower off my tractor. 1 Quote

Yes, when the quad is loading faster and the lines at the 6 pack makes it hard to skate around. This weekend not so much Quote

momskeeztoo Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 Yes I miss skiing. Maybe Arizona Ski Bowl will still be open when we go out there. I could be a rentard!! Quote

When do you go out there?? Seems like the Arizona snow bowl is still open with about half their terrain. What a wild season skiing in Arizona over two weeks later than our legendary mountain shut down. Shit is wilder than the time I saw a deadhead sticker on a Cadillac. Nothing surprises me anymore.
