GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted September 9, 2016 Report Posted September 9, 2016 I'd start looking 2-3 months out...Steamboat is far from the Denver airport and close to Hayden airport. Flights into Denver are cheap and flights into Hayden are expensive. Quote

GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 American Airlines flys Philly to Denver nonstop leaves at 8am arrives in Denver at a little after 10am. Looks like about $360 round trip. You always have to pay baggage fees on most airlines which can equal over $100 round trip but if you fly southwest baggage is included. I don't think southwest flys direct from Philly to Denver. Quote

Frontier has one way flights from philly to Denver for as low as $99 each way. Mark when you're going out is a popular spring break time so might not be that cheap. Definitely in like mid January it would be close to that cheap. Frontier does have baggage fees even for carry on baggage. Quote

Only Airline I believe that offers a direct from PHL is Delta and that flight costs a fortune. Total travel time to SLC vs DEN is still about the same even with the layover since Utah requires much less travel time once you actually land. That direct to SLC is probably perfect.
