I know, not even one picture, lame!  I was going to ski with them today but Mark wanted to go to Vail, so I went hiking instead.

Especially considering that mark has been posting pictures on Facebook and TP4 usually posts a lot.

I think they went to vail today cause marks homey hooked them up with comp passes.

Sorry for no reports, been avoiding the outside world for the past week and a half.

Day 1: flew into Denver, crashed in golden at a guy from pa's condo. Got a Ford Focus for the rental car which is exactly what I wanted. It was 75 degrees

Day 2: thanks to the kindness of barb, rode at copper for half price. Spring conditions, my first time there. I rank it above keystone but below break and vail. drove through Wyoming I mean north west Colorado.

Day 3: first steamboat day, very spring like, temps in the 50's

Day 4: second day at steamboat. Of my 14 or so trips out west, by far the worst conditions I have ever ridden. Icy death everywhere. Freeze/thaw was real bad, temps in the 50's during the day and in the high 20's at night but the sun did not come out til 2:00. After 2:00 was spring like

Day 5: ditto

Day 6: decent spring conditions, but snow didn't soften up til about noon

Day 7: good spring conditions, temps in 60's

Day 8: good spring conditions, temps in 50's

Day 9: was fortunate to get free passes to vail. Single day tickets are going for $189 at the window. Spent most of the time in blue sky basin. Was all good til the last run when I realized vail is a police state. Bag checks at the gondy, cameras in the gondy, and a sign bragging about the number of passes clipped this season. A damn shame cause vail is awesome

Day 10: currently sleeping on a couch in Dillon, fly out in 21 hours

Did they find anything in your bag TP4?

It wasn't a search, the guy made me prove my back pack fit into a bucket. Said I was lucky he wasn't taking my beer. I was confused cause there was no beer, just a single water bottle lol

Id take it to the Supreme Court. I think he targeted you because you're black. Not cool

TP4 you skiing blue tomorrow? Could be a pow day 3-6" forecast for the poke n hoes.

Reminds me of the Ludacris song Rollout. What you got in that bag what you got in that bag a couple of cans of who pass you did a good ass job of just eyeing me spying me

Wow, one and only time I went to avail tickets were $149. I went w a Vail employee and got his discount. If it is a place you will ski more than 3xs the epic pass is definitely worth it.

Pros and cons of trip:

Pros:

-extremely fun

-Colorado is a great state (for the most part)

-enjoyable terrain

-nice locals such as barb and Lilly who saved us a lot of money.

-2 resorts I had never been to

-got a Ford Focus as the rental car

-8 ski days in a row

Cons:

-the liberal smugness out here is insane. It's worse than California. Colorado is awesome but it's a damn shame watching the left destroy it

-people look at you like you are a leper when you light up a cigarette in public. We got yelled at by a steamboat instructor for smoking cigs in the hike able terrain

-worst conditions of any trip I've ever taken out west

Overall, a few cons certainly didn't take away from an awesome fucking trip

When I was in Utah, spoke to several people who were not pleased at all about Vail purchasing PC and Canyons.

We hung out with Kelsey from bear creek last night. Good peoples
