Looks like today's snowmaker's blog let slip the planned closing date:

Week and a half left. Half the days will be closed for rain, if they even open weekdays next week.

Was a good season, all things considered. Hope Camelback runs a special weekend of 4/8-9.

Sunday's forecast is showers likely but less than 1/10th of an inch of rain. I'm probably not gonna want to miss that...I'll do some nowcasting Sunday morning and see how it plays out. It's not a monsoon.

Low Friday night in the 40s high Saturday around 60...gonna be sloppy!!!

Curious if they open during the week. Sounds like you guys are expecting Saturday night and all day Sunday to be wash outs

Opening during the week will depend on weather...they usually don't do weekends only usually a day by day basis in inclement weather.

Looks like nice weather Wednesday and Thursday next week!!

Regardless of actual precipitation that falls, I feel that some sort of picture like the below will be used to announce a weeklong closure sometime on Sunday.

Something like "Due to the very wet weather forecast for most of the days this week, we will not be open for skiing or riding this upcoming week to save the snow for a final blowout closing weekend! See you on the slopes next weekend for pond skimming and one last hurrah!

*Note — Slopeside will still be open until 9 pm each night. "
