Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted April 24, 2017 Report Posted April 24, 2017 So this season I bought 29 adult tickets and 22 child tickets for a total of 51 tickets for $936 or just over $18 per ticket. Memories = priceless 1 Quote
toast21602 Posted April 24, 2017 Report Posted April 24, 2017 (edited) Blue Mountain paid me to ski. Cost = negative infinity. Edited April 24, 2017 by toast21602 5 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted April 24, 2017 Report Posted April 24, 2017 Blue pass $670 I think, Jackson hole 7 day with discount was somewhere around $550..In Colorado spent around $450 for 6 days so total was $1670 for 58 days equals $28 per day. That's freaking cheap. I rarely go a day without spending at least $28 on lyfe. Quote

Shadows Posted April 24, 2017 Report Posted April 24, 2017 I paid 499 for lift tickets in the last 7 years. Killer deals 1 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted April 24, 2017 Report Posted April 24, 2017 Life gets a lot cheaper for me in the months when biking rather than skiing is my main form of outdoor recreation. I probably spend almost as much money in the summer because I have more idle time so go out to bars and restaurants more. Got a wedding to go to this weekend for instance. That's a couple hundred right there for gift and hotel room. Quote
JFskiDan Posted April 24, 2017 Report Posted April 24, 2017 I'm weird about paying the least for something possible, like flights and rental cars and whatnot, but scoring cheap tixs and letting that steer my season as far as where i ski, nah. Works for you. congrats. Excellent couponing! 1 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted April 24, 2017 Report Posted April 24, 2017 I just booked a hotel room at Hampton inn and they said $129 per night and I said do you have anything better and they said how about $116...I wonder if any ski areas let you haggle. Quote
Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted April 24, 2017 Author Report Posted April 24, 2017 Doesn't really have much impact on where I ski as I have deals available to me so many places (at least 40 places, most of which went unused). I avoid buying a one mountain pass or even a multi mt pass like a Peak Pass because I prefer a lot of variety in where I ski and would not want to, for example, only ski JFBB when in PA, only Hunter when in NY, only Snow when in Vt. Hampton Inn is my choice of most bang for the buck hotel chain. Will almost always check pose one if it is right geographically. Quote
