Sno Mountain Skier Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 ^^^ because he likes to "play" ski resort owner? It seems to me a concert venue, waterpark, and ski resort are pretty high liability business to be in just to break even. Why bother with it? Outside of renting the area to LN, he has nothing to do with the concert venue... My take as someone who isn't his biggest fan, I think he's done so well in all of his businesses that he thinks he'll one day be able to make the ski area/water park work. As soon as LN starts losing money on either Peach or Bisco, they'll stop having events there. That is when the ski area will be on the selling block. Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted July 14, 2017 Report Posted July 14, 2017 And they do warped tour there as well. 1 Quote

guitar73 Posted July 27, 2017 Report Posted July 27, 2017 Very cool. Hasn't it been a while since you guys had passes someplace? kinda. i guess you can't count those multi-ticket products the mtns are doing these days. we technically had a pass to sugarloaf when we went up there last april. but yeah, we used to have passes at bear creek but haven't done that in a few years or so. PASR has definitely become BMSR (I'm definitely part of that). A little diversification is nice. Plus we missed your posts last winter. Sent from my P00A using Tapatalk 2 Quote

guitar73 Posted July 27, 2017 Report Posted July 27, 2017 Guitar is doing anything he can to avoid the PASRs what? that's silly talk. I ran into a few peeps at the end of last season. anyhow, RR is on point about Blue Mtn being the most popular amongst PASR's. I do need to do a better job about trip reports....smh. 1 Quote
