Just ordered my new replacement boots since my old pair had the sole falling off the boot.  DC customer servivce was great and sent me a gift card for the cost of the boots.  ended up working out good for me cause i get a brand new pair of 2018 boots for only $25 (price difference between last years model and this year)

I almost forgot, but TP4 reminded me with his RMA/Giftcard from DC.

I RMA'd a Mountain Hardwear Fleece that had a busted zipper.  Paid $60 for it  and after I lost weight, it was waaaay to big on me.  I got a $150 gift card which I used for a new (warmer) jacket off their clearance website.

So if it's a warm winter, it's probably my fault.

Just got back from my annual two week backpacking trek on the AT. Camped a little in Stowe after that and did some day hikes.

Yes, the leaves are starting to change. I'll be doing refresher for patrol before I know it.

6 weddings down this year and 3 to go. I'll have had 21 in 3 years after this season is over.

Building a new shopping center in DE this year, so snowboarding trips could be limited. I would definitely like to make it back to Quebec and hit some areas in Maine as well.

When I was 26 in 2001 I made 60k and lived like a king.

That's probably $100k in today's dollars. Last night at the bar this guy was bragging about how he makes $57k a year driving a truck..said he puts away $100 every paycheck into his savings account. I don't know why people tell people at the bar how much they make.

My friend just married a doctor and she's some sort of specialist and works for the hospital. Her raise this year when she got promoted was a $60,000 increase which is like 20%..now that's a lot of money and they still shop at Costco.

Ah, there's the PASR $60,000 benchmark salary again!

I think shadows started that one. If you are a millenial(under age 35) and make $60,000 per year you're in the top 10%.

Plan to ski the shit out of Blue on the weekends and 2-3 weeknights late after work. Might try to get a few of those Pocono cards because I do like Camelback and enjoyed Jack Frost last year, will probably hit Montage once or twice, had fun there last year too.

Headed to Steamboat first week in February. Really looking forward to it

Favorite restaurant in Steamboat is called Laundry. Make sure you at least grab a drink and app there.

You going out there with your Dad??? You'll like Steamboat. No worries of altitude sickness as it's a couple thousand feet lower than summit county and aspen resorts and it snows a lot there. Edited by GrilledSteezeSandwich

Yeah, Pops is coming with. I didn't think I'd be headed out west this coming season, figured we'd make a trip or two to Vermont or something as the next step in a progression, but a guy at work knows someone who is organizing a group trip, and the price seemed too good to pass up.

Definitely another one to add to the list to check out. Love me some BBQ. Bought a new pellet grill/smoker this summer. Wife wasn't happy, lol. Can't blame her, it *is* outdoor cooking appliance number 10. Got a great deal though.

Enjorales the combination of better snow conditions and wide open terrain makes steamboat easier to ski than a lot of Vermont areas.

I'm kinda gathering that from what I've been looking at, I just meant from a cost of the trip and breaking it to the wife I'm vacationing without the rest of the family perspective. Had kind of planned on a long weekend or two up north before dropping it on her that I'm disappearing for a week and spending a bunch of money maybe season after this one, lol

Your wife will have to deal. What's the alternative being a single mother lol

I've been on 33 week long "stag" trips, men only. My wife now informs me I owe her 8+ months on a tropical island.......
