rummy
Humn, Elk is not as far as I thought it was from central jersey. Could be interesting. Need to move to PA faster. lol. Go midweek, the Smurfs will still be slowly spinning the lifts, but it won't matter, you'll think you own the place. Also take a picnic lunch, find the "half-way" house and cook a burger, hot dog, steak, or whatever over the open fire and don't forget your wine. Guaranteed to be memorable.
Ride Delaware ?
Because you don't really ski on snow at Elk. Instead you're actually skiing on flakes of white gold which were mined in Vermont and imported to Clark's Summit PA. There the "snow" is pasteurized and homogenized for skiing then shipped to Elk for distribution on its slopes which, by the way, were hand cut a few hundred years ago as part of a peace treaty by the indigenous people of Northeastern Pennsylvania and the European settlers. The reason that the lifts are slow at Elk (and not many people know this) is because they have a colony of smurfs actually living under the mountain (known simply as "Smurf Village" to the locals) that manually spin the lifts via a system of pulleys. The smurfs demand a fair wage and rightly so! So think about that $800 now and you'll see that you're actually getting a great deal! jeff
Tree-fiddy... Miller light But they have about 15 different beers on tap... Hey Jeff help me out.. draft beers last season were $4. thats domestics like yuengling, miller light, coors light. others like corona were 4.50 and some drafts like dogfishhead 90 minute were 7.50. which is actually really reasonable for 90 minute. The best deal was two seasons ago. 16 oz coors light cans for 2.50. that was popular. last year the best deal was $5 budweiser aluminum 16oz bottles.
