enjoralas Posted December 3, 2024 Report Posted December 3, 2024 Noticeable difference in attitude about generating stoke, as Camelback has removed the links to their base, Sunbowl amd tubing cams, everywhere you can see them making snow Quote

Weekend first tracks still nice though. Quote

My sneaking suspicion is that they don't want to field a bunch of questions about why they aren't opening this weekend from everyone seeing how much snow they have down. But at any rate: Base: https://api.wetmet.net/widgets/stream/frame.php?ruc=231-03-01&width=702&height=527 Sunbowl: https://api.wetmet.net/widgets/stream/frame.php?ruc=231-01-01&width=702&height=527 Tubing: https://api.wetmet.net/widgets/stream/frame.php?ruc=231-04-01&width=702&height=527 2 Quote

Hacked the links. Your probably right but I doubt hiding the cams will stop the calls and messages lol. Quote

If the base looks like this, with all its concrete and the lazy river, I’m sure the rest of the trails they are making snow on are fine to open tomorrow. I haven’t been interested in camelback’s snowmaking for years, but we have a small family ski trip planned before Christmas, so I am interested now lol Quote

If you copy/paste them it should go to the three seperate ones, they are distinct there. The number after 231 designated the cam, 231 is Camelback. Blue is 230. For some reason they all go to 231-03 when you click them. Like DiMe said, they're not opening for another week. My suspicion is that they've marked the cams as "under maintenance", so no one grabs screens of how much snow they have and gives them shit on Facebook for not opening this weekend. Quote

We must open our electronic borders and invite all citizens of the Camelback nation to our ski slopes, and share our bountiful harvests of delicious meats, tacos, and creme brulee with these poor souls who have suffered so much, and lend an ear to hear their tales of woe and misery of riding one high speed lift with long lines on weekends, and riding one slow fixed grip lift to hit some gaper trails, and paying to park or having to hang a paper parking pass to their car mirrors. We will unite with our new friends who hail from Tannersville, East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg, but not West Stroudsburg, and all come together and hold hands while singing "We Are The World" and "Kumbaya". We will teach these new citizens the way of the Blue Mountain culture, to properly bash Camelback, to enjoy the muddy parking lots, to sip an ice cold Yoo-Hoo, and to learn the language of the Blue people and their dialect and accents, like "sick bird" and "Blue Mountain is the best".
