BM ticketing system

With all the sales going on right now, and a possibility of loading multiple peak and off-peak tickets onto ones card, I have a question... And ironically, BM reps themselves can't answer it, so I'm kind of hoping of hearing here from someone with first-hand experience.

Suppose, I have three kinds of tickets on the same card: peak, off peak and night tickets. Is the BM's system smart enough to always pick the most appropriate ticket for the time when I start skiing on a particular day or not?

I.e. can I be sure that if I come on Monday it won't use a peak ticket from my account, and if I come after 4pm, it won't use a whole day or 8-hr ticket, and instead will grab a night ticket?

I thought I heard that the new gates were designed to handle various ticket types better. I'd go to the window before each visit to be safe though.

Reminds me of my second favorite Avril Lavigne song...I'd just get a few seperate passes one for each category..that way you're in control.

I don't even trust blue mountain to reload my pass from previous seasons, I just get a new one in person the 1st day out.  I certainly wouldn't trust their ticketing system to use the appropriate pass
