no thanks. appreciate it though. not a fan of stuff above 110 for blue. cant really get a good feel for what they do anyway.

been thinking about getting some sl skis. been enjoying ping pongin around turns lately.

No gear, back is about 90% and I'm heading back to VT next week or weekend. Nice to see that we avoided the dreaded rain/thaw so far. Chilly temps sticking around for a while

I'll will be there Sunday. No one is allowed to laugh at my mediocre skiing skills.

I expect to be there all three days. Probably a short session tomorrow morning then returning in early afternoon after Pops gets off work. Sunday first thing and Monday . . . we'll see.

Sunday being NYE, is it worth bringing the grill out or will people be running out of there with stuff to do?

Worth bringing the grill as there will be a lot of PASRs in the house...NMSki,Me  TP4, Toast, Ryan, JFDan, Atomic Jeff and some others.  I guess it's never too cold to grill.

Wrong.  2 visits, even to two different mountains, counts as 1 day of skiing....at least on PASR.

This was a debate years ago on here.  On the old stats manager, 2 visits would count as 2 days when viewing your own stats, but on the leaderboard, would count as 1 day.  I can't exactly remember how the new one works, despite writing it myself.

Ironically, it can be too cold to grill. When it's too cold, propane doesn't convert to a gas, or at least at a high enough pressure. Sunday's forecast high of 17 might be pushing it, but we'll give it a go. I don't think that I have a portable charcoal grill anymore, or I would go that route. Blue doesn't seem to have any rules against charcoal.

Might pop my head in the garage attic tomorrow afternoon and see if there is still a portable charcoal rig up there. Pretty sure there's not. 

I suppose the Weber Kettle is actually pretty portable . . .

I find myself posting a lot less when I'm up there, especially with the shit ton of work I had to do. Nothing really remarkable about my last trip up. Most days were overcast and I'm not pulling my phone out for pix these days. Good snow, good conditions, several powder days, 4 trips over to Stowe. Side country is in, over 110" so far for Smuggs, even more at Jay. Cold is going to keep the snowpack solid, so this season is looking good so far. I'll post up some stuff on next trip up. Anyone know if I can take the SIMM chip out of my iphone and simply pop it into the cheapo phone I bought as a replacement?
