Now that it’s on the epicpass it’s a bargain. Before Stowe was on the epicpass, season passes were well over $1,000. 1 Quote

Yeah the people that went yesterday said lift access was limited, only the double running. Hopefully it’s not too bad because I want to get Boo on her first gondy. 3 Quote

The gondola at Stowe is nice. Now the ones at Killington were kind of trashy inside when I was there in 2017. Maybe they've improved since. Edited February 18, 2022 by saltyant Quote
mute1080 Posted February 18, 2022 Report Posted February 18, 2022 Skied 10-1230 and only the Mountain Triple is open. Every type of snow was skied. Lines got stupid so we’re at Piecasso for lunch. I messed up and order the calamari before reading farther that they have a Epic charcuterie board. I have a reason to come back now. 9 Quote
Popular Post mute1080 Posted February 19, 2022 Popular Post Report Posted February 19, 2022 Woke up to a fresh coating and had no issues getting to the mountain. Parked right by the Forerunner Quad and after a short line, we’re headed up at 835. Snow was grate. Fresh 3 inches at least made everything look better and kept snowing until we left. Less than half of the trails were open so not too many options down. Took 1 Gondy ride and mainly stayed off the FRQ. No lift lines at 1030 had me wondering were everyone was but a guy on the lift said there was a car accident on the access road blocking traffic. Shortly after 11 and the lines showed up. Finished with a couple Mountain Triple laps and headed out at 1145. Wedding is this afternoon so I have to get a shower and put on my drinking shoes. Fun day and felt great to have some fresh snow even if it wasn’t deep. Still nice to have some hit above the boot ❄️ 15 1 Quote
saltyant Posted February 19, 2022 Author Report Posted February 19, 2022 (edited) Looks awesome! I hate parking near the Four Runner because you have to walk up that dumb hill or steps. If you park by the gondola then you just have to skate on flatland for a bit which is still a lot of effort for lazy people like me who don't like to be physically exhausted. Salty it’s funny you go on 100 mile bike rides but walking up a small hill or some steps triggers you. 1 1 1 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted February 19, 2022 Report Posted February 19, 2022 Nice report...I’ve never heard of an afternoon wedding...that’s progressive. Have fun at the wedding and at Bolton tomorrow. 1 1 Quote

Skiing is a different mentality... I just wanna go downhill, not uphill. Plus walking in ski boots a sucks! 1 Quote

saltyant Posted April 18, 2022 Author Report Posted April 18, 2022 Probably not @GrilledSteezeSandwich because he doesn't want to pay parking scams either. Since I bought the Epic Pass it really irks me that I have to pay more money to ski there next season. Quote
JFskiDan Posted April 18, 2022 Report Posted April 18, 2022 Looks like anytime i would plan on going to Stowe, parking would be free, so i hope they charge a ton. I would rather go to Sugarbush anyways. The waffle hut there is spectacular. 1 Quote
RidgeRacer Posted April 18, 2022 Report Posted April 18, 2022 (edited) Just go to whiteface instead. Has more vert, it's closer and you can park your vehicle for free. Problem solved. Oh and it's not Vail. Edited April 18, 2022 by RidgeRacer 2 1 Quote
