GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 Nice report and very cool that rich people are starting to discover Blue mountain!!! Root is pretty stealth.. Quote
RootDKJ Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 Oh man this morning was nice once the am clouds cleared. Around 11 clouds moved in. Never got crowded while I was there. Razors closed again. First time I’ve seen the abortion that is Dreamweaver. Shameful. I might start riding the quad more while it’s there. Show must be great. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 3 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 I still haven't done Dreamweaver since it became a skicross course. I'm hoping Atomic Jeff emailed Jim Daily about removing it. Quote

mbike-ski Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 haha yea i thought it was kinda fun running it with Jr last night. I stopped to watch the school group kids eat shit at the little roller/gap thingy at the end Quote
zzslope Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 Hayata, his spouse, and I blew off work to spend the morning at blue. The first 6 or 7 runs were stellar on every run except the bumps, they had icy troughs. Things started to get cut up and a little sugary, nothing to complain about, switched to my wider skis and all was good. Challenge developed some cookies but, again not bad. Did not see anyone in the bumps so I didn't go back to them, probably should have as I am sure they turned hero. I have to admit that I have been enjoying the skier cross course, but it can go just the same. 1 Quote

GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 I'm not enjoying losing one of the better top to bottom routes for the last two weeks. Quote

The herbs that like to go 12mph love it. Apparently it hasn't been maintained either..it's icy death. Lower sidewinder is the place for skiercross. Having no nightmare to Dreamweaver during last weeks pow day was a stoke stomper as well. Edited February 14, 2018 by GrilledSteezeSandwich Quote
theprogram4 Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 i cannot make a judgment call on the skier cross course until i ride it when there is actually visibility and im not shielding my eyes from rain. im sure you all will be anxiously awaiting my opinion on it Quote

Some sections, I guess where they could get the groomer in, were giant marbles. Quote

Skiid good I'm in favor of bumps on the chute..it provides steeper bumps than barneys and also makes Main Street safer because it's one less route of aggro beginners flying down into the middle of Main Street. 4 1 Quote

momskeeztoo Posted February 15, 2018 Report Posted February 15, 2018 Great day today. And yes, they need to mow the crap on Dreamweaver down. Went down once, that was one time too many. Saw one other person on the trail. Quote
