GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted February 20, 2018 Report Posted February 20, 2018 I just booked airfare for my 5th annual April Colorado skifari. Roundtrip airfare from Newark to Denver direct is under $350. Now I need to look into rental cars. I want to return to abasin, copper and Loveland. I may try out Vail and Winter Park for the first time. JADIP Quote
antman12 Posted February 20, 2018 Report Posted February 20, 2018 Awesome, good for you and cant wait to read the TRs. Ironically I was skimming thru your previous "Colorado skifari" from last season. Quote

It's always a fun time..much different than Jackson hole..easier terrain, a little more laid back and very rare to not have at least one Perder day. My next trip after this will be Europe this summer..I still need to get my passport straight and figure out my destination. Quote

I'm extremely jealous (in a good way) off your skiing trips. Quote

Have you skied out west before?? I've gone straight minimalist. My cost of my hotel is about $1100 a month and I don't have any other bills so gonna try to travel more and more. Quote

But ive ridden 500+ days yet have only been to Bear, Blue, BB, Camelback, Spring, Whiteface and Stowe. I'm thinking next season ill be able to take a cheap trip out west or nice trip up North now that Ill have a season pass and new equipment and wont have to worry about the cost of riding locally. Johnny Law Posted February 21, 2018 Report Posted February 21, 2018 If you ski Vail go back to front. Winter Park is cool too, Maryjane side is super fun. 2 Quote
Barb Posted February 21, 2018 Report Posted February 21, 2018 Yeah, you should check out Winter Park. Now that I don't have a place there anymore and drive instead of taking the shuttle, I never go on the WP side. Always park on the Jane side and hang out there. Lots of terrain. 1 Quote
