RootDKJ Posted March 29, 2018 Report Posted March 29, 2018 This is why everyone should have a pair of dedicated rock skis. 1 1 Quote
JFskiDan Posted March 29, 2018 Report Posted March 29, 2018 If you are going to get uptight about skiing over rocks, at this point in the season, you should just hang your shit up. It aint gonna get better. Did you go complain to the people at Mountain Creek, or do you just complain constantly online? 2 Quote

Skied some dirt, skimmed a few puddles, overturned a couple of rocks. MC is completely melt down, and their FB lies. But that's OK, that's just local climate and attitude. 1 Quote

I'd go with that if I knew conditions ahead of time. In fact, if I knew the conditions, I'd just skip MC altogether. Quote

Yeah, I found my way down a few times, can't really call it skiing, almost went back to the car but then noticed that small Vista-like slope that didn't melt yet with a dedicated lift. And so stayed there for a little longer. Quote

jordan Posted April 12, 2018 Report Posted April 12, 2018 all skis are rock skis. Seriously, unless you are a racer, or you have a hole in the base all the way to the core, who cares? Quote
