We’re not even 7 weeks into the skison yet...strike 2..I’m fucking happy we’ve had skiing if Blue was 30 miles south they would just be reopening like bear creek will in a few days.

Well said sir.

Switchback is a great trail, wish it was higher on the snowmaking list, it looked snowless and sad today.

Blue has no love for that trail, but it's the most fun since it follows the contours of the mountain.
I think all the snowmaking on it is the old manual guns, so I'm sure the snowmakers hate it, having to check the snow quality/adjust the guns periodically.
I know the groomers don't like it much either because of all the turns and drops, which makes it great for sliding.

The twist, turns, double fall lines, and secluded-in-the-woods feel all make it great.

I really started to appreciate Switchback last season and look forward to riding it more often!

I think it was last Presidents day weekend when we had a snowstorm before the weekend and the crowds were outta control...? Anyways, Switchback was incredible that day. By no means untouched but it was far less tracked than the rest of the mountain. ROTD for sure.

Typically after a good storm the groomers will leave Switchback ungroomed, which makes it even better and a ton of fun, the way it should be!
