Unfortunately I'm out.
Being off last week has me doing a lot of catch-up this week at w$@k.

Have a great time!

I bought the ribs yesterday, and am not calling a "salty"...... But, with a 70% chance of the R word, are there any thoughts of postponing this adventure to the land of Elkaholics?

Only rain showers and still a few days out. It could change, so I don’t want to make any decisions just yet. I’ll leave that to our leader anyway.

Right now it looks like early morning showers then clearing up. Let's give it another day or so but this doesn't necessarily make me want to cancel. Thoughts from everyone else?

I’m not scared of some rain.

The snow is usually pretty nice in the rain.
I'm not a fan of a downpour now, but I'll still ski in the rain.
3+ hour drive home will suck though....lol

The way you drive it won’t be 3+ hours.

Traffic coming back on a Friday afternoon might negate any time gained by driving fast though.

That could be interesting...
I will probably opt for the am pass and could hit up something on the way back for a little bit depending on what time actually left.
I have my kids this weekend otherwise it would be even more interesting.

Is there anything good up in that area? Would be nice to try something new.

Did I miss anyone?

My Big Buddy and assistant cook,  Al will be there too.

Yes, both Binghamton and Forest City are now calling for showers to end early morning.  Partial clearing afterward. Spring Skiing....                       The ribs will be rubbed tonight....

If you leave hungry ..... You Didn't Eat Enough Ribs!! ..... And Phillycore, I can easily throw in a chicken breast if you want, since you don't like bones..

For a real Elkaholic Experience you could try Chets Place, only a couple miles away from the mountain. Cheap beer, Good Burgers (Alice Burger) and other specials, pool table, and lots of locals flavor..     www.chetsplace.com.  "Home of the ultimate Buzz"

Lake Wallenpaupak is pretty far out of the way it you're using the NE extension of the turnpike...
